We’ve now had the first 5 questions that were decided by a vote:
In every case, there was only one voter, and it was the asker, so these questions were resolved just like questions have always been resolved.
If you scroll down to the bottom of those questions, you will see who voted on any given question (you can only see this list once voting is closed).
All voting is public. For instance, here is Andrew Behla’s vote.
In the past, about 1 in every 8 questions were abandoned by their asker, who would never come back and pick a winner. In those cases, what usually happened was that the expert who was expecting money would write to me, and ask me to assign the money. I was always happy to do so, but I feel it is more fair if you, the experts, decide these things for yourselves. You now have the power to do so.
You can see all the questions where voting is currently in progress.
From what I can see, the voting is working correctly, and money is being given to the winning experts. If you notice any anomalies, please let me know.
