I’m told that some of the people who just established new websites via our beta program are having problems with PayPal. Some, when they applied for API credentials, got this message:
“We are aware of an issue where you’re unable to request or re-enable API credentials for your account.
We have temporarily strengthened our verification process for new merchants and developers. As a result, requesting or renewing API access is temporarily unavailable.
We are doing our best to get API access available and will notify you as soon as we have more information.”
I’ve previously expressed some reservations about PayPal on my personal blog.
I am busy next week, but the week afterwards we will devote to enabling alternatives to PayPal.
