I just noticed that there are 25 questions on WP Questions where, for some reason, no PayPal Transaction id was ever recorded, or, if recorded, it was later lost. I had thought this was impossible. Don’t you love those bugs that are impossible but happen anyway?
At first I thought the transaction id was getting wiped out when people edited their questions, but no, over 200 questions have been edited, but there are only 25 questions missing their transaction id.
I think these are the cases where PayPal failed to ping our servers and I had to activate the question manually. Or the times people mistakenly paid with an eCheck.
I am now adding in more redundant checks for this info.
