Dave Partners is leading the search for a Rails Web Developer for one of NYC’s hottest startups. We’re looking for a candidate with a great sense of self-direction and the desire to change the product development industry. The right person will contribute to all aspects of building and maintain the company’s Technology Platform as they scale the business to meet increased product demand and greater product development participation.

Your responsibilities:

• End-to-end web application development (database, business logic, front-end) for new site features
• Backend system development (shopping cart, order fulfillment, etc)
• Financial reporting
• Customer service tools
• Operational support

You should have:

• 2- 5 years experience (preferably on one or more highly-trafficked websites)
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, MySQL, HTML/CSS/Javascript (jQuery), Git, Lighthouse, Basecamp, Agile, Iterative Development
• No problem performance tuning and testing
• A sense of curiosity and integrity
• An incredible eye for detail and dedication to quality
