WP Questions turns $10,000

Some time last night WP Questions crossed the $10,000 threshold. This means over $10,000 has been paid out to various experts for answering questions.

I’ll take this opportunity to review our stats.

We’ve been paid just under $12,500.

PayPal has taken just over $600

We’ve paid out $250 to open source developers and affiliates, as part of our various programs.

$10,126 has been paid to various experts for the work they’ve done.

There is roughly $400 of pending questions.

The remainder of the money is our “profit” though in fact we re-invested all of it in advertising.

Traffic to the site is at an all time high, over 5,000 visitors a week.

The amount of money going through the site continues to increase. While it took almost 3 months to see our first $1,000, it took less than 2 weeks to see this most recent $1,000.

As recently as February, we had a week during which no one posted any questions. That is hard to imagine now, when we get between 20 and 30 questions a week.

Very soon now we will be rolling out this software as a service so that you, too, can have a site like WP Questions, if you wish.

This site is only as good as it is useful to the people who ask questions, and it is only useful to them due to the excellence of the people who answer questions on the site. Therefore, to

Pippin – we are working really hard to get this software out the door. I’ll be posting a lot more about that soon.

Thanks to WP Questions, now I am making an average of a hundred dollars monthly by answering questions here. Not to mentioned the knowledge gain while researching for working solutions!

Hope to see WP Questions making another 10000 soon!

    6. Lawrence Krubner says:

Thanks, Denzel. It took us 9 months to go from $1,000 to $10,000. I’d like to think it will take us 9 months to go from $10,000 to $100,000.
