A bug arose on our sites. We tracked it to that portion of the code that tried to ping Twitter’s API. Two weeks ago Twitter changed how it allows authentication. The portion of our code that pings Twitter began to fail, and began to sabotage everything

For now, we’ve commented out all of our Twitter code. We should have this fixed by Monday.

At the moment, the code is sending out too many emails when a new question is posted. We will likely turn off the email, and then restart it on Monday.
